How far we have come!

I just realized today that I have been giving Rohan instructions and he understands what I am telling him. Pretty amazing actually. This little thing has grown up so much that we have begun having actual conversations with him. Like today, he got hold of the JC Penney jewellery catalog and was playing with it, tearing it and ofcourse putting it in his mouth. Every time he started chewing on it, I roared "NO ROhan" and surely he would let go and look at me while doing so. He knows the meaning of no and many times choses to ignore it.her

Yesterday he did a very cute thing. Papa came in the afternoon to take care of him. He was sitting on the floor playing. When he saw Papa, he was so happy! Papa wanted to pick him up but wanted to wash his hands first so rushed to the bathroom. Was Rohan upset!! He gave a loud yell - Nanaji how dare you not pick me up! I was standing right there, but he continued looking at nanaji and crying. It was pretty cute. He recognizes most folks he sees regulalry like nanaji, nanijiand also seema naani, kriti and kambi mausi. He also recognizes nannamma's snap and her voice on the phone.

Right now he is pulling the cord of my laptop so I have to logoff. The time has come to secure all wires and such things around the house.
