Balawalalalala Cuck!

Want to take a guess on what this is - balawalalalala cuck? heh - thats 'Bada Wala Truck' in Rohan talk. Its been several months since we updated this blog. So many things have happened since - but the most awesome thing that Rohan has been upto is that he is talking. Talking so much! Its absolutely amazing to have seen him come from aaggooos, aggaaas to two word sentences. Saroj aunty has been instrumental in getting him to talk so much. He learns as much from her as he does from us.

Going back to the above phrase - that started during our drives around San Diego. Rohan visited Atta and Rishi Mama in December and had so much fun with them. He played 'ouch' with Atta a lot - he would pull Atta's hair, Atta would yell ouch, and Rohan would clap. After San Diego he tried doing that with everyone with long hair.

Rohan knows most folks he sees often and can call them by their names - papa, mama, naani, nanaji. tata, namma, aadit, aunty. He can also recognize 'ashi didi' whose picture is on the refrig. The two homes he visits frequently are adit's and naani's. To my amazement, he knows exactly when he is going there. As soon as I turn left on deep creek every morning - Rohan remembers Adit. A left on liberty and he remembers Naani. and yes a left on blackhawk with aunty - ba byeee!! he knows we are going to drop off aunty.

He loves making sounds, all types of sounds. Ravi says he gets this from him cause as a kid he used to make lots of sounds. Every wednesday morning is the 'garage truck viewing'. We park ourselves at the front door early in the morning to watch the garage trucks come by. Rohan loves the beep beep noises and gives the garbage men a very warm morning greeting. He loves the lawnmower and vacuum cleaner. Last weekend Ravi was clearing the living room area to vacuum. As soon as we started doing this, before we even got the vacuum cleaner out, he knew what was coming and was happily making vrooom vrooom noises. He even makes vacuming fun for us I swear!

He can moo, bhoo bhoo, meaoo, and bray!! heh - the last one gets a good laugh from everyone. ofcourse he can crow and chi chi as well. and yes rroooaaarrrr!! he loves looking at birds from our windows and loves seeing 'chanda mama' and 'aeopanes':)

Everyday aunty tells us something new and cute he has done. That makes my day!
